I have been receiving a lot of spam. So to lessen the number of spams, I have disabled anonymous commenting – you need to register to comment. It only requires you to supply a username and a valid e-mail address and you will be given a temporary password, which you must change when you first login.
This goes the same for other sites such as blogger and wordpress.com.
