I did not know that the Philippine Collegian (Kule) featured a story about the Computerized Registration System (CRS) issue that happened last year until one of the Asst. Vice Presidents of UP told me about it. I immediately searched for a copy thinking that it was just released recently but later found out that it was a few weeks old already. Nonetheless, it is still worth printing here.
After reading the rather short story, I figured that Kule should do a follow-up and get more facts. Whilst I will not say who among those involved and were interviewed were saying the truth, I will say this — there is more to it than simply these small issues.
To Kule’s Ms. Montes, dig deeper and you will eventually find the entire truth behind the issue. Believe me, you will be surprised when you find out the root of the problem.
BTW, I am wondering why Kule did not interview the chairperson of the CRS committee, the Vice-Chancellor for Academic Affairs of UP Diliman. Hmmm…
